This is the homerun king Barry Bonds. Barry Bonds hit 762 homeruns in his career. However we will never know how many homeruns he would have hit if he had not taken steroids. Some people have mixed feelings about this. People like to say just because he took steroids doesn’t mean you can take away all the homeruns he has hit. That is a great point but maybe if he had not taken steroids would he still have the power to hit all these homeruns? Yes him coming into the league he was a great baseball player with some power. He was manly a speedy outfielder with a lot of power for his size. As you can see in the pictures above, the first picture is when Barry is older and when he hit the majority of his homeruns. The picture on the right is Barry when he first came into the league. Coming into the league Bonds weighed around 185 to 190 pounds. After he first started juicing he was weighing 230 to 235 pounds. These are pretty big differences here. In my opinion this homerun king should have all the homeruns he hit while he was juicing away and Hank Aaron should still be the homerun king. This is the major problem that I have with Professional Athletes enhancing performance drugs. They are taking the titles of these unbelievable athletes that were setting records off pure talent and not off them using and kind of steroid.

Back when he had played they did not have any type of steroid or cheating way they could use to become great. They had no hitting coaches or proper swing they were just born to play the game as it should be played and that is the fair way. This is off pure determination and hard work. Never did he cheat he earned this name as the “Homerun King”.
